A front row seat for sunrise over Tacking Point, Port Macquarie.
Well, a front row seat if you turn your head 90 degrees to the right and look East.
‘An aisle seat for sunrise over Tacking Point’ doesn’t quite work as well.
Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned the seat at all.
In fact, the word ‘seat’ has been written too many times in this post already.
Lighthouse: “Ahem, I think I’m a little more impressive than that seat people.”

Tacking Point Lighthouse. Built in 1879 – the 3rd oldest lighthouse in Australia.
Set against a bright blue sky, it reminds me of the Greek Islands…
Mykonos, Santorini perhaps.
I haven’t seen anyone crack open a bottle of ouzo and yell ‘Opa!’ up there yet,
but there’s a first for everything. Not sure the local Hastings Council would approve of me smashing plates against the lighthouse either. Spoil sports.
