Town Beach, Port Macquarie.
This is the kind of day where I pinch myself and remember how lucky I am to live in a place like this…turquoise water, clean beaches and beautiful winter weather.
Port Perfection indeed.
Morning light on Watonga Rocks at Lighthouse Beach, Port Macquarie.
These rocks are normally a slate/copper colour throughout the day,
so it was beautiful to see them all lit up in yellow and green light.
Looking South towards Watonga Rocks, Lighthouse Beach at about 6.30am.
Beautiful temperature, crashing waves and a bunch of early risers with smiles on their faces. Nice one!

I find these rocks fascinating. So many colours and textures.
I’ll have to do some research and get back to you about type, age etc.
Anyway, I reckon they rock [insert riotous laughter].

Love the contrasts in this photo.
That sky sure is blue!
I have a similar photo looking up the Great Pyramid in Cairo, hence the title of this blog.
Funny to think that this ‘pyramid’ is a lot older than the ones in Egypt.
Well, yeah, I hear you say 🙂
