Lighthouse Lifeguard
Lifeguard Tower, Lighthouse Beach.
The lifeguards from Tacking Point Surf Lifesaving Club use this tower to keep watch over swimmers and surfers at Lighthouse Beach.
And it’s all volunteer work. Legends.
Stretching Giraffe
This shot was taken at Lake Cathie (pronounced Kat-eye), just south of Port Macquarie.
Why ‘Stretching Giraffe’?
See the top of the tree trunk – I reckon it looks like a giraffe’s head stretching for some leaves. Don’t you think?

Port Perfection
Town Beach, Port Macquarie.
This is the kind of day where I pinch myself and remember how lucky I am to live in a place like this…turquoise water, clean beaches and beautiful winter weather.
Port Perfection indeed.
Perched
Commanding. Astute. Magnificent.
This guy was perched on his post by the Hastings River at Westport Park.
I managed to snap the shot as his head turned and the morning sun caught his beak.
He then gave me a glare as if to say “Come any closer and you’ll lose a finger”.

What can I say? I’ve just been busy doing, you know, stuff.

You might say I was ‘tickled pink’ to capture this sunrise [insert uncontrollable laughter].
Wow. There really are no words to describe this. So I’ll stop typing. 🙂
Norfolk Guard
A lone Norfolk Pine Tree stands guard over Town Beach, Port Macquarie.
The view is North towards Crescent Head and beyond.
Note the great white shark lurking just behind the surfers about to catch the next wave.
Just kidding…I think it’s a bull shark 🙂
